The balance is right straight away
Imported lines post to a suspense account at once, so the bank balance in the books is correct before you match anything. Matching clears the suspense account to zero.
Every match has a reason
Each suggestion is scored on amount, date and name. A match on amount alone is never shown as certain.
Hard cases handled
Card pre-authorisations and refunds, foreign currency with bank fees, one payment split across many invoices, and Social Insurance paid across several payroll accounts.
JCC and Stripe payouts
Upload the payout report and each payout is matched to the exact invoices it paid, with card fees booked. It only books when the numbers agree to the cent.
